Iron Weights

The day I met you I saw your hands empty

And now they are carrying something way too heavy

I can do nothing but watch and regret our decision

You say 'It's okay,we can handle it' But I know better

You are getting weaker everyday

I hear people whispering

You don't hear them

You keep smiling

And I fake one

You're not happy

I can tell you are sad

You won't let go of the weights

You continue on but how far will we go

'It's fine,we can handle it'you mutter once more

You're making me cry with your false hope

People try to stop you,but you don't listen

You'll kill yourself if you don't stop

I tell you it's okay,we tried but you shake your head

'We still have ways to go...'You say but you're slipping up

I love you,that's why I came up to you and said

"It's fine,I can handle it"

And I make you drop the Iron weights
